Frosting
Dad probably won't see this post. He's too busy supervising renovations on the house, reading a dozen newspapers, researching a painting, watching sports and the stock market, paying bills, visiting with friends, reading his emails and sending jokes on to me. It's his 96th birthday today. I think he's the frosting on the cake!

ReplyDeleteA belated happy day for your dad. He sounds delightful. I was reading a blog the other day and the son had his fifth birthday. His mother congratulated him. He was introspective. "I am going to miss my four year old self," he replied. He needs to talk to your Dad! Love to see a picture of him with his new IPad!
ReplyDeletehome before dark ~ Thanks for your kind birthday wishes for Dad. I did get some photos of him...partly entranced and a moment, or two, when I thought he might throw the IPad across the room! all in all, he's thrilled to pieces with it!
