The massive blizzard chugging up the east coast has had one happy outcome...JCB and her gentleman have had to delay their departure for a day! It is a winter wonderland outside, blissful inside....at least as long as we have power! Little paths have been shoveled for short, four legged friends!
Luckily the storm missed DC and my path from Pittsburgh -so I was able to make it home unscathed. I hope you have fun up there! If the electricity does go out, snuggle up by the fire and have a drink for me.
ReplyDeleteEager to hear of Cooper's reaction to seeing his dear owner. Wishing you all the best. The snow blows through rather quickly, but the winds are still here. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteStefan ~ So glad your Holiday travel went smoothly...you are probably one of the few! So far, we have power, although the storm kept JCB and her gentleman in Maine for an extra day...an added Christmas bonus for us! They leave tomorrow...Janet's birthday...
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Christmas (raises glass!)
Barbara ~ The above post is for you! Cooper's paws have barely touched the ground. He just goes from one loving lap to the next! We will soon be taking him down to Ct. where he will meet our grandchildren's dachshunds. So much excitement! I'm not sure what we will do for an encore!
We have been thinking of you too! We had a small blogger get together with the Dilettante yesterday and I suspect your ears were probably burning!
The snow is tapering off leaving us with almost 16 inches. The scene outside is beautiful! I hope you are surrounded by family in this winterscape that has blanketed the east coast, warm and cozy! xo
