Hello Blogger friends! We are home from Costa Rica! I have a memory card full of amazing wildlife I hope to share with you soon!
Wishing everyone a Valentine's Day full of sweet surprises.
Hi Stefan! Hope you had a happy Valentine's Day somewhere beautiful! Our trip was thrilling...now slowly sorting through photos, uploading to Flickr and planning a post (or two!)
When you said you were going way south I knew it had to more south than Florida! Just read your update about Cooper following his nose and not observing personal space of another camper! Poor guy. Can't wait to see your photographs. Was the coffee wonderful?
home before dark ~ Cooper is fine, if a bit rakish with his battle scar...not afraid of confrontation, our boy! I always think of the comment you made, "Cooper's got game!"
It's a crazy week at home, but I have gotten some photos up on Flickr with many more to edit and post and then on to Blogger. Soon, I hope. The coffee was wonderful, (they say that Juan Valdez secretly drinks Costa Rican coffee!)
Glad you're back-bet the weather was a little warmer! We only have same amount of snow! Where is all our snow?!-my mom keeps saying- we're gonna get hit!! ~~Rain
Thoughts and images of Maine and beyond.
I have lived in Iran, Bahrain, Hong Kong and England and I loved all of those places, but for me, Maine has been a constant... I feel most at home on this rocky shore and I became a full time resident in 1993. Winter's bitter cold and dark days were an adjustment, but I now view this season as a time of peace and creativity.
This is primarily a photo blog of the things I love... the back roads, small towns, gorgeous shoreline and blissful days spent on the water, with a bit of every day minutiae thrown in just for fun. It is meant to be a companion to Flickr, a global community of photographers and a place where over nine thousand of my photos have found a home. Here, I want to combine my photo stream with a narrative for a more interactive experience and to give some additional information on the images. I hope you will take a moment to visit.
All photos are my own, unless otherwise noted.
What a warm and lovely way to spend Valentines. Hope you're having a great trip!

ReplyDeleteRain ~ Thank you! The weather was hot hot hot and humid, but a least we managed to stay dry. There are two seasons in Costa Rica, "rainy and rainier!"
DeleteI agree with your Mom...it's coming! I noticed the frost heaves are not that bad driving into Ellsworth this morning! :D
