Love these little sketches. Did the gentleman teach his little boy to put the pieces in the trash after he tore them into shreds? Oh well, Merry Christmas to all of you way up there!!
Barbara ~ I'm so glad you enjoy the sketches! Cooper is more inclined to get into the trash, we are lucky he has very short legs! He arrived with a brief instruction manual and box shredding was at the top of the list...he loves them. You wouldn't want to be a box!
Hope your Christmas was bright and merry! It was beautiful in Maine with gently falling snow all day.
Love the Cooperdoodles. Glad to see he plays to his strengths. Our little dog loved wrestling with empty paper tubes, particularly the long wrapping paper ones. It was like watching hand to hand combat. Hope your season is merry and bright....and WARM!
Mike ~ Oh dear, I hope nothing went awry on your trip! Your post was endearing!
home before dark ~ I hope your Holiday was merry and bright! We were warm and snug with a soft snowfall that lasted throughout the day.
I gave Cooper a long wrapping paper tube once...He was so excited that he grasped it in the middle and tried to run under the dining room table. The ends caught on the table leg and chair and he did a spectacular back flip. I'd be famous if I'd had a video camera in my hand!
Thoughts and images of Maine and beyond.
I have lived in Iran, Bahrain, Hong Kong and England and I loved all of those places, but for me, Maine has been a constant... I feel most at home on this rocky shore and I became a full time resident in 1993. Winter's bitter cold and dark days were an adjustment, but I now view this season as a time of peace and creativity.
This is primarily a photo blog of the things I love... the back roads, small towns, gorgeous shoreline and blissful days spent on the water, with a bit of every day minutiae thrown in just for fun. It is meant to be a companion to Flickr, a global community of photographers and a place where over nine thousand of my photos have found a home. Here, I want to combine my photo stream with a narrative for a more interactive experience and to give some additional information on the images. I hope you will take a moment to visit.
All photos are my own, unless otherwise noted.

Would Cooper like a flight to a Colorado Christmas box disaster? ....darling sketch!
