"Mr. 7" and Hazel have a lively conversation with Dad who is in Australia. He will be in the air soon...it's a long way home to yesterday. Safe travels!

Isn't technology amazing?! I remember when my dad went to Egypt for 6 weeks when I was a kid and we had maybe 1 or 2 staticky telephone calls and that was in the late 1980s, just 20 years ago!
ReplyDeleteStefan ~ I know! I remember all our years overseas sending LETTERS! Now our grandchildren roll their eyes when they hear we didn't have computers and cellphones when we were kids! What in the world did we do with our time?!

ReplyDeleteYippes! Skype! Yet another nail in my low-tech coffin. Hazel seems particularly alert and interested. Grandson seems to inherited the nice hand curl on the mouse! Big sighs for your line "it's a long way home to yesterday." You and Peter ARE superheroes!

ReplyDeletehome before dark ~ Sadly, our grandchildren can run circles around us on a computer. Thank heavens Peter and I have different skill sets, so together, we are adequate...intractable machines!!! Superheroes?? With rickety parts.
