What a delight! I'm looking at this photo of your dog whilst listening to a slight burbling snore from the bedroom. Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.
Is this the Doxie burrito? As my husband often commented on the purpose of our schnauzer: being a love object is serious business. Hope your day is filled with heart-felt delights.
Dear Blue ~ Thank you...and I can't imagine a better Valentine song than that "slight burbling snore" in the next room! I hope you had a wonderful day!
Maria ~ and to you dear friend. I know you made it a beautiful day!
Dear June ~ I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
home before dark ~ Not quite the whole enchilada! I have to tell you that after our candlelight dinner, Cooper raced into the livingroom to get pet rock with hair communicating whatever it is little dogs say to one another and the two raced into the kitchen for tidbits and plates. Collusion! A new milestone for the two of them! Happy Valentine wishes to you from the four of us!
Connor could teach Henry Kissinger a thing or two about diplomacy: clever, persistent and he knows what really motivates!
Here's a little valentine for Connor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9Fyey4D5hg I know that dogs are not supposed to like videos as much as cats, but Connor's got game!
home before dark ~ He does indeed...and his persistence always pays off! I loved the Youtube link, Cooper watched it with interest and promptly fell asleep in my lap. "On Task" is not a virtue in his mind!
Another first today...a dachshund and shih tzu trip to the vet! I love small towns, everyone in the office is on pins and needles waiting to meet our boy! To be continued!
Thoughts and images of Maine and beyond.
I have lived in Iran, Bahrain, Hong Kong and England and I loved all of those places, but for me, Maine has been a constant... I feel most at home on this rocky shore and I became a full time resident in 1993. Winter's bitter cold and dark days were an adjustment, but I now view this season as a time of peace and creativity.
This is primarily a photo blog of the things I love... the back roads, small towns, gorgeous shoreline and blissful days spent on the water, with a bit of every day minutiae thrown in just for fun. It is meant to be a companion to Flickr, a global community of photographers and a place where over nine thousand of my photos have found a home. Here, I want to combine my photo stream with a narrative for a more interactive experience and to give some additional information on the images. I hope you will take a moment to visit.
All photos are my own, unless otherwise noted.
