What better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than with the exquisite green in the reception area at the National Library of Ireland! More information here.

Erin go bragh! Or as I used to say in the late 60s: Erin go bra-less! (As a wink to the bra burnings that were going on at the time.) My grandmother was Irish. She, with the red hair, the beautiful blue eyes and the forgiving smile. She died when I was a toddler. Not sure she would have recognized parts of herself in her reddish-brown, green eyed, rather feisty granddaughter!
home before dark ~ ...and now the greeting must be never go braghless :-( My mother had red hair when she was young and still has vibrant blue eyes, none of which showed up in her children or grandchildren. I guess we are all watered down to American mutts. I'm sure your grandmother would have loved the feisty bit...who wouldn't?!
Maria ~ Thank you! Happy St. Patrick's Day to you! Hugs!
what a gorgeous room! Happy St Pats!
